White Crane Spreads Wings (¥ÕÅb«G¯Í)

1. Fully shift weight to sit on the right leg to free up the left foot.

2. Raise left foot to place toes to the left front forming a left empty stance.

3. Simultaneously turn waist/hip to the right, and right palm to face down. Raise the right arm gradually to guard the forehead, palm faces the front without straightening the elbow.

4. Turn and drop the left hand to protect the groin and brush across passing the left knee to rest next to the left hip.

5. Keep upper body, spine and neck straight with head erected. Look straight forward.
