(16) Slanted Flying   (±×­¸¶Õ)


This movement employs a bow stance slightly bigger than most movements. Assuming we start facing South, the Slanted Flying will face South but slightly to the west.


1. Continue from previous move, relax hip joints, put all weight on left leg and slightly lift the right heel
2. Turn waist/hip right, drop right hand down to the left hip, palm up. Turn left hand up palm face down and move it up to under the right armpit. pivot on the ball of the right foot.
3. Squat and step to the right with heel towards south passing the center line toward south west.
4. Shift weight slowly to the right foot. Right arm rises to the right, palm up with fingers at eye level. Left hand start to split from the right arm to settle on the left front waist high. Turn left foot slightly greater than 45° along with the waist/hip turn by pivoting on the heel. A large right bow stance is formed. Keep head and spine upright.
